The Missing God

God-Nature is that which connects in relationship.  It is the missing God, what is missing in us, in our culture.  We know his existence by his absence in us.  If we want him, we must search to find him.

Will we ever be ready for God-- the real God, the primeval God, the God of Life on Earth?  Or will we go on in blind indifference, to our well-laid fate, our death from his absence?

The Pattern Which Connects

The Ecology Symbol represents the homeostatic feedback loop characteristic of all Life, at all levels, from the tiniest to the greatest of all, the Biosphere.  It is the fractal pattern which connects all life on Earth in relationship.

The Romance

The Romance of Deep Ecology: the romantic world-saga of numinous enlightenment and the rebirth of the Soul, and the combined struggle to save the Earth; of love of Life and genius intuition and mental fight and heroic striving for unification and union with the Biosphere in Menning.

Menning= the ecological culture-civilization.

Interpenetration

Humans at one with Nature are Nature made conscious of itself: Nature-God-in-us.  Such interpenetrative union is found in the love of Life, and this union is characterized by love and virtuous conduct.

Anti-chaos

Humans create chaos and destroy Nature.  Whence comes ecological order?  From ecological Self, within, without: Drygand, EcoEros: two suns shining steady light and warmth to grow order.  So bask and be set right.

Twin Suns

Drygand is the Sun, of the Otherworld; EcoEros is the Sun of Thisworld: twin suns circling in a cosmic dance.

EcoEros is the Summer King, presiding augustly as Nature thrives; god of light and warmth, growth and fertility, feeding, surviving.  Drygand is Winter King, at work in the realm of mystery, of underpinning ideas and patterns, mystic forces interacting; god of fire and heat, transformation, recombining, rebirth.

EcoEros shines greengold, Drygand goldorange.  One is outer, the other inner.  One practical, one magical.  Twin suns ruling the Lifeworld as one, locked in a ring.

Nonrational Ecology

Deep Ecology is nonrational Ecology: Nature mysticism both romantic and scientific, bringing the love that binds one to the Life-All that is Good, in best harmony.
