Chimaera Integrate

Chimaeras are of conscious and unconscious analogues conjoined.  The weirdness of these emergent entities is due to the ill fit of the parts.  But this gives way to a new unification as the complementary halves integrate: the Self harmonizes them.

Pan-Chimaera

Chimaeras arise in the deep mind, their segments fused together with great energy, so they hold great power.  Then they rise to the join of deep mind with aware conscious mind.  A zoo of chimaeras gather there, and form a shocking Pan-Chimaera, the Drygand.  When Drygand unifies his chimaerical incongruities, the undifferentiated EcoGod is formed in him, the One, in all his unleashed power to do good.

Psychic Physics

The psyche is a continuum.  When difference is overrode, the wholeness flows freely, all false boundaries erased, as unification begets energy: which is merely undifferentiated matter.

Meant To Be

EcoGod is the inner pagan Daimon: the Soul, the Self, Eros.  The strong conscious ego was hard won, but now it must combine with the unconscious Daimon.  The conscious ego is impoverished-- to be possessed by the Soul is to live richly, fully.  The numinous powers within are pagan, primitive-- this is the way back; there is no way forward, no way at all.  The future is in the primeval: Nature-God becomes self-conscious in us, as was meant to be, in Love forever.

Sixties Jung

It's a shame that Carl Jung didn't live another ten years, because the Sixties were so Jung!  And as he felt very close to Nature and liked to live without electricity or running water and to chop wood for heat and cooking, he would have been very supportive of the burgeoning environmental movement, and would have had some very powerful statement to make at the first Earth Day, 1970.  He might even have become a Deep Ecologist!

The Doctrine of Holism

Ahem!  Harrumph!  The Doctrine of Holism states that God is a biological Organism-- the Biosphere, in fact-- which is not distinguished from Biospheric Mind, as Mind and Nature are One System!

Representation

EcoGod is represented by a (phallic) Greek column supporting a globe-shaped ecology symbol; it is like a beacon-light atop a tower, or even like Sauron's eye atop the tower of Barad-dur (horrors!).  But it derives from the Chthonic Ithyphallos from C. G. Jung's famous early dream, with an upward-gazing eye at the urethral opening with an aura about it.  Welcome to the weird world of the nonrational.
