The Alf-takn (symbol) is like a Roman 'A' with an added line downward from the middle of the horizontal. This bar and its support can also be made into a shape like a short, shallow chalice. The Drygand-takn is the Alf-takn inverted, so it is like a head with three horns (thry-hyrned) like that of an ancient depiction, apparently of a Scythian whirlwind-daimon having three 'horns'. These takns' similarity is appropriate because the Alfar are 'Sons of the Son', as the Drygand is the son of the Wolken (which in turn is the offspring of the Edhli).
Wolken= the Edhli-mind.
