The Oekumensch* drives the Helg-wain bearing the Weoh throughout the Landschaft, to wake the Land and Folk from the Time of Frost, the wintry Wasteland. Green springs again. The Edhli-menning calls.
*'oe' here stands for 0-umlaut, pronounced like 'eu' in French 'feu', approximately like 'eh' and 'ew' melded, or a softened 'ur'.
Oekumensch= Eco-man.
Helg-wain= sacred cart.
Weoh= an idol, sacred image.
Landschaft= landscape.
Edhli-menning= the Ecological Civilization.
Oekumensch <[aka(OIce)= to drive or draw a vehicle, to convey in a vehicle. ekja= carting. ekju-= cart-. Oekumadhr(Ice)= driver. Oeku-thorr-- a descriptor of Thor, possibly derived from the Finnish thunder-god Ukkr, but possibly also referring to Thor's famous cart. In pagan Scandinavia a sacred cart bearing an idol of a fertility god would be drawn around the land before springtime to bless the land and give it fertility of plants and animals. / Oekumene(OGk)= the inhabited world (~Biosphere)> oekumenisch(Ger)= ecumenical (universal). Oekologie= Ecology. Mensch= person.] So, Oekumensch= Eco-man, if this all makes sense.
