Mennings

The Mennings are the Biosphere-folk, the far-flung citizens of the new ecological civilization, the Menning.

They are the Andmayth-- Untribe-- not a blood-kin, but brothers nonetheless, Menning-folk who live in frith-bond with the Edhli, seeking foremost to live in it doing it no harm.  They have gone beyond Gumendom to Neorxendom, sustainability.  Some call themselves Alfar.

Menning(Icelandic)= culture, civilization.
Andmayth= anti-tribe, untribe(O Eng. and-= opposite-to; maegth= family, clan, tribe, race(~blood-kin)).
Frithbond= a compact of peacefulness.
Edhli= the Living World, Biosphere (Ice. edhli= nature).
Gumendom= humankind(O Eng. guma= man).
Neorxna= ever-newing(O Eng. neorxnawang= Elysian Fields).
Alfar(Ice.)= the Elvenfolk, an advanced humanoid species.
