The initiator stands behind the initiate, who sits facing away from him with head inclined foreward. The initiator, with hands framing the initiate's head, says, "I, (name), give to you, (name), the Lodestone, so that you may undergo the Cherrenge, and become a Menning. I give it... NOW (clasping head for a few seconds, then releasing). Fare henceforth a Menning and work Menning on Earth!"
One may only be so "dubbed" if he has shown himself to be already mennisch. Thus the act of initiation is merely grounding in time a process already (and not yet) begun in the person.
